Cette plante a un caractère difficile mais une fois qu'elle est installée, quelle merveille ! Rappel : un sol bien drainé, le pied couché à l'horizontale doit être à l'ombre, poser un support pour la belle.

Je suis très contrariée avec ces insectes volants de colza, les méligethes aenus, qui ont envahi mes rosiers. C'est impossible de voir les roses David Austin fleurir, les boutons s'étiolent avant de fleurir.En plus il y a des bêtes d'orage partout ou thrips. Le spray de savon noir ne marche pas bien. Il paraît que le kaolin repousserait les méligethes, je vais donc le tester. Mais si vous connaissez un traitement naturel ce serait génial de le partager !

Very upset with these pollen beatles (meligethes aenus) which have invaded my rose bushes, it's impossible to see now the blooming of David Austin roses, the rose buds dye before flourishing. Moreover there are flower thrips (we call them storm bugs in French) everywhere. The black soap spray doen't work very well. It seems that kaolin would repel meligethes, i am going to try it. But if you know a natural treatment it would be great to share it !

Certains d'entre vous connaissent sûrement ce truc ! Il suffit de couper 1 cm au dessus du collet les salades, ici des feuilles de chêne ou les bettes, pour qu'elles repoussent ! On peut ainsi récolter encore trois fois au moins les précieux légumes ! Génial non !?

Bonjour ! Regardez comme ce lavatère arbustif 'Bredon Spring' a une belle floraison. Bien sur il est tout petit puisque je l'ai planté fin avril. J'en ai vu adulte, buisson de deux à trois mètres, c'est magnifique. Par contre il faut mieux en faire des boutures (bouturage fin août, bouturage de rejet en juin) car leur durée de vie est d'environ quatre ans. Groupés en haie, ils font bel effet, surtout en tons sur tons. Tailler en fin d'hiver.

Good morning ! Look at this shrubby lavatera 'Bredon Spring' is good looking blooming. Off course it's very small because i planted it at the end of april. I saw some adult srubs, between two and three meters high, it's gorgeous. But you'll better take cuttings (cutting at the end of august, cutting of root suckers) because their life is about four years long. Grouped in hedge, they are splendid, aboveall tone on tone. Prune in winter.
