Oui c'était mon anniversaire en september, mais mon mari a trouvé une superbe jardinière pour moi à la fin du mois d'août donc... Je l'ai utilisé pour planter un pêcher nain Crimson® Bonfire® et des crocus saffran (crocus sativus).

J'ai mis une bonne couche de drainage. Ensuite j'ai ajouté de la terre mélangée à du terreau et un peu de sable.

Le pêcher vient d'Allemagne et les bulbes ont été acheté sur un marché aux plantes à Bessey-lès-Citeaux.

Le producteur m'a indiqué de les enfoncer de 5 centimètres. Après la récolte des pistils, on peut faire sécher le saffran à 40°C pendant 15 minutes.

Maintenant j'attends la sortie de terre des fleurs qui doit avoir lieu en octobre !

Yes it was my birthday in september, but my husband found a pretty planter for me at the end of august so... I used it to plant a Crimson® Bonfire® peach tree and saffron crocus.

I put a generous cover of drainage. Then soil mixed with fertile soil, and a bit of sand.

The dwarf peach tree comes from Germany and bulbs from a plant market at Bessey-lès-Citeaux. The producer explained to dig them 5 centimeters underneath the soil. After harvesting the pistils, you can dry the saffron at a 40°C temperature during 15 minutes.

Now i am waiting for the coming out of the flowers which should take place in october !
